I've seen similar shifts in my department over the past year. It felt a bit unsettling at first, but the focus seems to be on streamlining processes and ensuring we're all working as effectively as possible. My manager explained it as a proactive measure to adapt to changing market demands and keep us competitive. While the increased scrutiny can feel intense, I'm trying to view it as an opportunity to identify areas where I can personally improve and contribute more strategically.
Interesting. I haven't personally experienced that heightened focus on 'efficiency' in my team. We've had our usual performance check-ins, but nothing that feels significantly different or more intense than before. Perhaps it's department-specific, or maybe the impact hasn't trickled down to my area yet. It's definitely something to keep an eye on, though. If it becomes a company-wide trend, it would be good to understand the underlying strategy behind it.
