Sempra - Recent Project Prioritization Shifts?

Hey all, has anyone else noticed a significant shift in how projects are being prioritized or even cancelled lately at Sempra? Feels like there's a lot of "re-evaluating" happening across different departments, and some initiatives that seemed like a sure thing a few months ago are now up in the air or completely shelved. It's making it hard to plan for Q4 and next year. I'm trying to gauge if this is a company-wide trend or if it's just isolated to my team/division. Just wondering if anyone else is seeing similar things or has any insights into what might be driving these changes. Trying to stay ahead of any potential fallout, you know? Let me know what you're hearing or experiencing.

Yeah, I've definitely seen similar vibes. Seems like everything's under a microscope right now, and 'strategic alignment' is the buzzword for why things are being paused or redirected. It's frustrating when you've invested time and resources, only for the goalposts to move. Makes you wonder about the long-term vision, or if it's just a reaction to current market pressures. Hoping for more clarity soon, but in the meantime, it's definitely a challenge for operational planning.

Interesting you bring this up. My division has been experiencing the same thing. There's a lot of 're-prioritization' happening, and some key projects we were counting on seem to have fallen off the radar. Communication hasn't been the clearest on the 'why' behind it all, which adds to the uncertainty. Trying to stay agile but it's tough when the roadmap feels like it's constantly being redrawn. Curious to hear if others have insights into what's driving these shifts.
