Sempra - Rumblings about hiring freeze?

Hey everyone, been with Sempra for a few years now and lately things have felt...off. My team's been pushing back on a lot of new hires we'd planned for Q3/Q4. My manager is being super cagey, just saying we need to 'optimize existing resources.' Sounds like a nice way of saying no one new is coming in, and maybe even some folks on the chopping block later. Anyone else seeing this in their departments? Feels like the good times might be over, or at least paused for a while. What's the vibe in other parts of the company?
