Questioning the future at SW - anyone else?

Long-time Sherwin-Williams employee here, and I'm starting to get a knot in my stomach about where things are headed. The market's been choppy, and while SW has weathered storms before, I'm not seeing a clear path forward that doesn't involve some difficult decisions. We've been told it's 'business as usual,' but a lot of the internal comms feel a bit too optimistic, almost like they're trying to reassure us about something that's actually in motion. I've heard whispers, nothing confirmed, but enough to make me think. Curious if anyone has any actual insight or has seen any internal indicators that suggest upcoming changes. Just trying to prepare myself and my family.

I feel you on this. The 'business as usual' message just doesn't quite ring true when you're on the ground. It's the subtle shifts, the little things that get re-prioritized, that make you wonder. Heard similar rumblings from folks in other districts. Hopefully, it's just a temporary cycle and we can get back to smoother sailing soon, but it's hard not to worry when things feel uncertain.

Yeah, that underlying current of unease is definitely palpable. It's easy to dismiss whispers, but when multiple people start picking up on the same vibe, it warrants attention. I'm hoping the leadership has a solid, transparent plan they're just not ready to fully unveil. Keeping a close eye on inventory levels and sales trends, myself. Fingers crossed for the best, but preparing for whatever might come.
