Ugh, that sounds like a familiar song and dance. 'Streamlining' is often corporate speak for 'we're cutting costs and you're next.' Keep your resume polished and start networking. It's better to be looking when you don't *have* to be. Don't let them grind you down; your experience is valuable elsewhere.
Could be. Or it could be genuine restructuring to improve efficiency, even if it feels chaotic right now. Sometimes those senior roles are redundant after systems change, and new titles without new responsibilities can be a holding pattern before they figure out a better fit, or yes, a way to eliminate that layer. Try to stay neutral and focus on your own contributions.
