Feeling the uncertainty at Shopify - anyone else?

Just wanted to see if I'm alone in this feeling. Things at Shopify seem… off. There are no major layoff announcements, but there's a definite undercurrent of unease. People are talking about 'realignments' and 'strategic shifts' that sound an awful lot like what happens before actual cuts. The news cycle hasn't helped either, with some pretty stark headlines out there. I'm not personally on the chopping block (as far as I know!), but the general vibe is definitely one of caution. Are we heading into a period of significant reduction, or is this just noise? Anyone in a position to shed some light on the internal situation without breaking NDAs, obviously?

I hear you. It's that quiet hum of 'what if' that gets to everyone, even if you're not directly affected. The constant chatter about restructuring can really put people on edge. It's tough when the company message feels a bit muddled and you're left trying to read between the lines. Hoping for some clarity soon for everyone.

Totally get the vibe. It feels like a lot of tech companies are in this weird limbo right now. You see the headlines, you hear the whispers, and even without official word, the atmosphere changes. It's natural to feel a bit unsettled when there's so much talk of change. Just trying to stay focused on my work and hope for the best.
