SPG - Anyone else feeling the budget crunch?

Hey all, been with SPG for a few years now at the corporate level and lately, things have felt… tight. Budgets seem to be scrutinized way more than usual, travel is being heavily restricted, and there's a general air of 'doing more with less.' Not hearing any concrete layoff rumors, but the vibe feels off. Wondering if anyone else in different departments or roles is experiencing something similar. Is this just a seasonal thing, or are we looking at potential restructuring down the line? Trying to gauge if I should be updating my resume or if this is just a normal business cycle adjustment. Curious to hear what others are seeing/hearing.

Definitely feeling the pinch here too, though in a different division. It's not just budget cuts; it feels like a general slowdown in approvals for new initiatives. Marketing spend is way down, and even small project requests are getting extra scrutiny. I've also noticed a lot more internal discussion about efficiency and optimizing existing resources. Hoping it's just a market adjustment, but the lack of clarity is definitely unsettling.

I can echo the sentiment from my end, though perhaps from a slightly different perspective. We're seeing less emphasis on growth projects and more on maintaining current performance. The focus is definitely on the bottom line, and while I haven't heard direct layoff talk, the hiring freeze in some areas speaks volumes. It's a tough climate out there, and it seems SPG is hunkering down like many others.
