So, I've been trying to get into SPG for a while now, specifically for [mention type of role, e.g., a property management role]. The job postings seem to be up and down, and the application process feels like it goes into a black hole. I reached out to a few people I know tangentially and heard that there's a pretty significant hiring freeze in place, especially for non-essential roles. It's not just a slowdown, it's like a full stop. This ties into the layoff rumors – if they're not bringing anyone new in, it makes sense they might be looking to trim the existing workforce. Has anyone who's currently working at SPG noticed a dip in morale because of this? Are people worried about their job security? Any insight into how management is handling this perceived freeze or potential cuts would be appreciated. Trying to figure out if it's even worth putting more energy into applying right now.
