Anyone else feel the pressure in SNAP Industrials?

Long-time employee here in one of the manufacturing facilities for Snap-on Industrials. Lately, it feels like there's a lot more pressure to hit targets with fewer resources. We've had a few key people leave recently, and instead of replacements, the workload is just being redistributed. Management's been pretty tight-lipped, just saying we need to 'be more efficient'. It's starting to impact morale, and honestly, the quality of work can suffer when people are stretched too thin. I haven't seen any layoff notices, but the overall atmosphere feels tense. Is this a widespread thing across the industrial division, or is it just my site? Wondering if anyone has experienced similar cutbacks or increased pressure without clear communication from leadership. It’s tough to stay motivated when you feel like you’re just waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Yeah, I've heard similar things from folks in other divisions. Seems like a company-wide trend to squeeze more out of the existing workforce. It's a tough spot to be in when you're being asked to do more with less, and leadership isn't being transparent about why. Morale takes a hit, and it's only a matter of time before productivity and quality really start to slide if things don't change. Hope you and your colleagues can find ways to manage the stress.

That sounds incredibly frustrating. The 'do more with less' approach is a classic management tactic, but it rarely ends well for the employees on the ground. When key people leave and work gets redistributed, it's a recipe for burnout and mistakes. Hopefully, management realizes the impact this is having on morale and eventually addresses it with more than just platitudes about efficiency. Good luck navigating it.
