Is anyone else getting a weird vibe lately? I’ve been with Snap-on for a few years now, and the communication coming from leadership has been extremely sparse. Usually, we have a sense of direction, but lately, it feels like we’re just waiting for the other shoe to drop. No major announcements, but the lack of transparency is starting to make people nervous. I’ve noticed a few project freezes that don't make much sense, and people are quietly polishing their resumes just in case. I’m curious if anyone in the Industrials division has heard anything substantial, or if this is just the usual cycle of corporate tightening. It feels different this time—less about 'efficiency' and more about 'survival mode.' If you're hearing anything in your departments, please share. I’d rather know what I’m walking into before I show up on Monday.

Same here. The silence is deafening lately. I’ve noticed the exact same project freezes in my department, and the lack of guidance from leadership is definitely killing morale. Everyone I talk to has that same feeling of walking on eggshells. It’s hard to stay focused when you feel like the rug is about to be pulled out from under you. If something big is coming, they should just rip the band-aid off instead of letting us sit here in this limbo. Definitely updating my LinkedIn this weekend.

Look, it’s probably just standard corporate tightening. We go through these cycles every few years where they clamp down on spending and go radio silent while they recalibrate the strategy. It’s annoying, sure, but jumping to conclusions about mass layoffs might be a bit premature. Keep your head down, do your work, and don't get swept up in the office gossip mill. The Kenosha leadership is usually pretty calculated with their moves, so just wait for the town hall before you start handing out your resume.
