Anyone else's projects suddenly on life support?

It's getting really quiet on my team. We used to be swamped with new feature requests and roadmap planning, but now it feels like everything is on pause. My manager is being super cagey about what's happening with our Q3/Q4 roadmap. I've been here 4 years, primarily on the core product side, and this is the first time I've seen this level of slowdown. Feels like we're waiting for the other shoe to drop. Anyone else experiencing this? Are your projects still moving forward, or is it the same 'wait and see' vibe? Seriously wondering if I should start dusting off the resume.

Yeah, I've definitely felt a similar vibe lately. It's unsettling when the usual hum of activity just... stops. Lots of 'strategic reviews' and 're-prioritization' meetings, but nothing concrete coming out of them. Makes you wonder if there's a bigger shake-up on the horizon or if we're just in a weird lull. Hang in there, hopefully, we'll get some clarity soon.

Interesting. While things *might* feel slower, are you sure it's not just a shift in priorities or a more focused approach? Sometimes big companies go through phases where they consolidate or refine existing features before launching big new things. Could be a good time to deep dive into tech debt or improve existing user flows instead of chasing shiny new features. Might be worth asking your manager for specific areas of focus.
