Feeling the impact of Snap's workforce reduction

Okay, so the layoff numbers are out and it's hitting harder than I thought. Seems like a significant chunk of people are gone this time around. It's tough to see so many colleagues, people you worked with daily, just… gone. The atmosphere in the remaining teams is definitely tense. Everyone's looking around, wondering if they're next, or if their workload is about to double. It’s hard to stay motivated when there’s this level of uncertainty. Management keeps saying things are going to stabilize, but after multiple rounds of cuts, it’s hard to take that at face value. Just wanted to share this feeling and see if anyone else is experiencing the same thing. It’s a really demoralizing time.

This is really disheartening to read. Layoffs always create a ripple effect of anxiety, and it sounds like the uncertainty is palpable. I hope the company does a better job of communicating their strategy moving forward to ease some of that tension. It's a difficult time for everyone involved, especially those directly impacted.

It's a grim situation when workforce reductions happen. The feeling of instability and the unknown can be incredibly draining on morale. Hopefully, management can provide a clear vision and demonstrate how the remaining team members will be supported and how the company plans to move forward positively. Wishing everyone there strength.
