Honestly, it's so variable. Tenure definitely plays a role. I'd expect at least 2 weeks per year of service, so you're probably looking at something like 5 weeks minimum. But companies can be more generous depending on how well they're doing (or trying to appear). Negotiating is possible, especially if you're willing to sign a broad release. Good luck!
Don't get your hopes up too high. Snap's already done layoffs, so they've probably tightened their belt. While tenure matters, don't expect anything groundbreaking. Read your offer VERY carefully and maybe consult an employment lawyer if you're not sure. They may slip in a clause that you have to pay them back if you get another job within a certain timeframe. Seriously, read the fine print!
