Just saw the news about Snap cutting more jobs. It's the second time this year I think? Feels like we're constantly on edge here. They keep talking about focusing on core products and efficiency, but what does that even mean on the ground? Are these strategic shifts or just cost-cutting dressed up? I'm starting to wonder if the leadership really has a solid plan or if they're just reacting to market pressures. Anyone else feel like the messaging from above is a bit vague? Makes it hard to feel secure when you don't understand the 'why' behind these decisions. Just trying to process this and figure out what it means for the rest of us still here.

It definitely feels like a cycle of uncertainty. The 'focusing on core products' narrative is repeated often, but the tangible impact on daily work and team stability is what's concerning. When layoffs happen frequently, it breeds a sense of instability, and it's hard not to question the long-term strategy when the immediate actions feel so disruptive. I agree the communication could be clearer about what these shifts truly entail for the future of the company and our roles within it.
