Hey everyone, been at SO for a few years now, and lately, it feels like things are getting a bit… weird. My team's workload hasn't really let up, but I've noticed some responsibilities being shuffled around, almost like they're trying to consolidate or streamline things without making any big announcements. People are picking up tasks that aren't typically theirs, and there's a general sense of 'what's next?' without any clear communication. It's not outright panic mode, but the quiet adjustments are definitely noticeable. Anyone else experiencing something similar within their departments or across the company? Curious if this is a company-wide thing or just isolated incidents.

Yeah, I've been feeling that too. It's like a constant state of subtle reorganization without much transparency. My department has seen a few people leave, and instead of backfilling, their duties are just being absorbed by the remaining staff, often with new tasks that weren't part of their original roles. It's definitely creating some confusion and a bit of extra stress trying to figure out who owns what now. Hoping for some clarity soon.

I'm not sure I'd call it 'weird,' maybe just... evolving? Companies do this to adapt, especially in our sector. While communication could always be better, sometimes these shifts are necessary to improve efficiency or prepare for future projects. I've found it helpful to just focus on doing my current tasks well and staying adaptable. If new responsibilities come my way, I'll tackle them as they arise.
