Southern Company: Morale tanking post-restructuring?

Has anyone else noticed a serious dip in morale lately at Southern Company? Feels like ever since that last round of 'synergies' and 'optimizations' (aka, more work for fewer people), things have been way more tense. People are stressed, overloaded, and you can just feel the anxiety in the air. Lots of hushed conversations about 'efficiency' and 'right-sizing', which we all know is corporate speak for 'get ready for more with less, or maybe even *less*'. Anyone else feeling this? It’s getting hard to stay motivated when you feel like you’re just one project away from being deemed 'redundant'. Wondering if leadership is actually hearing this or just pushing forward with their spreadsheets.

Absolutely feeling this. The 'synergies' have definitely translated into more pressure on the remaining staff. It feels like we're constantly being asked to do more with less, and the constant talk of 'optimization' is just adding to the general unease. It's hard to stay motivated when you see colleagues struggling and feel like you're next on the chopping block. The atmosphere has definitely shifted, and not for the better. Hoping leadership recognizes the impact this is having before it gets worse.
