The restructuring rumors are getting louder

Throwaway for obvious reasons. I’m seeing a ton of 'restructuring' chatter in the internal slack channels that hasn't been addressed by anyone in leadership. Every time we ask about the headcount freeze, we get some vague nonsense about 'aligning resources with future goals.' We all know what that actually means. I’ve seen this movie before—first comes the hiring freeze, then the 'strategic realignment,' and then the calendar invites appear on a Tuesday morning. I’ve started updating my resume just in case, but it’s frustrating that they won’t be transparent. If they’re planning to let people go, just rip the band-aid off so we can stop looking over our shoulders. Anyone else in sales seeing their territories getting shifted around without explanation? It feels like they’re trying to squeeze blood from a stone before the ax falls.

I’m in the same boat. It feels like every all-hands meeting is just a masterclass in corporate doublespeak. If they are planning to trim the fat, they need to be transparent about it so people can actually prepare. This 'wait and see' anxiety is destroying productivity across the region. If you've got a bad gut feeling, keep polishing that resume and quietly start networking outside the company. Better to be prepared with an exit strategy than waiting for a calendar invite that says your time is up.

You aren't imagining things. The silence from leadership is usually the loudest indicator that the internal restructuring is already a done deal. I’ve noticed the same pattern at SGWS in the past, and it rarely ends with 'business as usual.' They want to keep everyone focused on the Q4 targets until the very last second, which is honestly pretty insulting given how hard the sales force is grinding right now. Don't waste energy waiting for an honest answer—start looking at competitors before the market gets flooded with everyone else who is doing the exact same thing.
