Anyone else feeling the pre-acquisition jitters?

Just saw some chatter about potential layoffs at Splunk, even before the Cisco deal fully closes. Is anyone else in the same boat and feeling the unease? It's hard not to worry, especially with big changes like this on the horizon. I've been with the company for a few years and things have been pretty stable, but now it feels like a big question mark. Any insights or similar experiences from folks who've been through acquisitions before? Trying to stay positive but it's tough when your job security feels like it's hanging in the balance. Curious to hear how others are handling this uncertainty, or if anyone has heard any concrete information filtering down.

Yeah, the uncertainty is definitely palpable. It's natural to feel anxious when such a massive change is in motion, especially with rumors circulating. I'm trying to focus on my current responsibilities and do the best job I can, hoping that hard work will speak for itself. It's a tough balance between staying informed and not letting the speculation consume you. Hoping for clarity soon.

Totally understand the unease. Acquisitions can be a rollercoaster, and the pre-close period often feels like the longest wait. I've heard similar whispers and it's hard to ignore them. I'm keeping my head down, delivering value, and hoping that our contributions will be recognized and valued in the new structure. It’s a stressful time for sure, but hopefully, it all shakes out positively in the end.
