Anyone else feeling uneasy about Q3 performance?

I'm in sales, and I'm starting to get a really bad feeling. Deals are slipping, and the pipeline isn't looking as healthy as it should this time of year. My manager is breathing down my neck about numbers. I know it's always stressful, but this feels different. Anyone else feeling the pressure ramp up? Are they going to start sharpening the knives again if Q3 doesn't deliver? I've been here 4 years and seen a few cycles. Feels like 2022 all over again.

Yeah, I'm in professional services, and we're seeing the same thing. Projects are getting delayed, budgets are being cut. It feels like everyone is holding back on spending. The constant re-orgs haven't helped morale either. Makes it tough to focus on closing deals or finishing project deliverables. I think there's a general economic slowdown affecting a lot of tech companies, not just Splunk.

Honestly, it's *always* like this before the end of a quarter. Sales always complains, the pressure ramps up, and then somehow, some way, the numbers materialize. I wouldn't panic just yet. Focus on what you can control – pushing your existing deals, finding new leads. And maybe start updating your resume just in case, but don't let the anxiety paralyze you.
