Feeling the pressure - anyone else at Splunk sensing a layoff coming?

I'm in the engineering org at Splunk and lately, the vibe has been... off. We've had some reorganizations, and there's been a general sense of caution. While there's been no official announcement, the whispers are getting louder. Are others experiencing something similar? It feels like a matter of 'when' not 'if' for some parts of the company. Just wondering if anyone's leadership has hinted at anything or if there are any departmental rumors circulating. Trying to gauge the general sentiment and see if this feeling is widespread or just specific to my bubble. It's a stressful time to be in tech right now, and this uncertainty is adding to it.

Yeah, I've definitely felt it too, especially over the last few months. There's been a palpable shift in how things are being discussed internally. Project scopes seem to be tightening up, and there's a lot more scrutiny on budgets and resource allocation than I remember from previous years. It's hard to ignore the underlying tension when you see these kinds of changes happening across multiple teams. I'm hoping for clarity soon, but the uncertainty is definitely weighing on everyone.
