Hey everyone, seeing a lot of chatter online about potential layoffs at Splunk. While there's no official announcement, the timing with the pending Cisco acquisition feels… strategic. I've been hearing whispers through the grapevine about some teams being looked at more closely for 'redundancy' or 'efficiency gains.' It's unnerving, to say the least. My manager has been cagey when asked about team stability, just saying we need to 'focus on delivering value.' That's corporate speak for 'don't rock the boat, or you might be the boat that gets rocked.' Anyone else in a similar boat? Feeling like the rug could be pulled any day now.
