Hang in there. I know the uncertainty is rough. My advice? Talk to the hiring manager on the team you're interested in. Get a feel for their roadmap and stability. If they're hiring and have a solid plan, it might be worth the risk. Four years is a long time to be in one spot, and growth opportunities are important, even now. Just do your due diligence.
Honestly, I'd pump the brakes. Heard a lot of internal moves got put on hold last quarter. Even if you find a new role, there's no guarantee it's safe. Maybe focus on making your current role more interesting or learning new skills that could be valuable wherever you land, even if it's in your current department for a bit longer. Better safe than sorry, right?
