Hey everyone, seeing a lot of chatter online and on other platforms about potential layoffs at Splunk, with numbers being thrown around. Has anyone actually heard anything directly or have a solid source? My team hasn't gotten any official word, but the anxiety is definitely building. It's tough when there's so much noise and no clear communication. Trying to stay focused on work, but it's hard not to worry, especially with the Cisco acquisition on the horizon. Just looking for some real information, not just speculation. If anyone has definitive news, please share. Trying to prepare ourselves either way. Thanks.

I've seen the same chatter and it's definitely creating a buzz. No official word on my end either, but you're right, the lack of communication is making it hard to ignore. It's understandable to feel anxious, especially with the Cisco situation in flux. Fingers crossed for clarity soon so everyone can get back to focusing on the actual work.

Yeah, it's been hard to miss the online speculation. My manager hasn't mentioned anything concrete, but the general uncertainty is palpable. It's a tricky environment when rumors fly, and especially with the upcoming acquisition. Hopefully, leadership provides some transparency soon to alleviate the stress for everyone involved.
