Anyone else feeling the jitters at SBD?

Hey everyone, just wanted to see if anyone else is feeling a bit uneasy about the current climate at Stanley Black & Decker. Been here a few years now, and while we haven't had any official news or whispers of layoffs, there's just this underlying tension that's hard to ignore. Projects seem to be getting scrutinized more, and there's been talk about "streamlining" and "efficiency" that feels a little too familiar. I've noticed a few more "departures" than usual, though I can't say for sure if they were forced. Just trying to get a pulse check from others in different departments. Is it just me, or is the vibe a bit off? Wondering if others are starting to update their resumes or just keeping an eye out. Any insights would be appreciated, trying not to panic but also want to be prepared.

I've definitely noticed the shift. The constant focus on 'efficiency' and 'streamlining' does create an atmosphere of uncertainty, even without official announcements. It makes you wonder what's around the corner. Hopefully, it's just a normal business cycle adjustment, but it's hard not to feel a bit on edge when the language feels like it's setting up for something. Let's hope for the best and stay vigilant.

Yeah, that feeling is palpable. It's like walking on eggshells sometimes. The increased scrutiny on projects and the buzzwords being thrown around are definitely causing some anxiety. It's tough when you can't quite put your finger on it, but the general vibe suggests a period of significant change is underway. Keeping my head down and focusing on my work, but the unease is definitely there.
