Okay, so I'm not sure if this is a layoff report or just a rant, but it's making me nervous. My store manager has been super stressed lately. Normally they're pretty chill, but the last week they've been pacing, taking a lot of calls outside, and just generally seem on edge. The other day, I overheard them talking to someone on the phone about 'hitting new efficiency targets' and 'streamlining labor costs.' They also mentioned something about 'underperforming metrics' for the quarter. They haven't said anything directly to us about layoffs or closures, but the vibe is definitely off. We've had a few corporate visitors lately too, doing walkthroughs and watching us like hawks. It just feels like a precursor to bad news. Anyone else's management acting this way? Makes you wonder what’s really going on behind the scenes.

Hopefully, it's just a temporary pressure they're feeling from corporate and not a sign of impending cuts or major changes.
