State Street - Anyone else prepping their resume just in case?

Okay, so maybe I'm being overly cautious, but the current atmosphere at State Street has me thinking. There's no smoke, no fire, no official word whatsoever, but that 'quiet exodus' is real, and the general sentiment feels... off. Been polishing up my resume and doing some discreet networking, more out of habit than anything else, but the thought of a potential restructuring or even targeted layoffs is definitely in the back of my mind. Is this just me being paranoid, or are others feeling the same level of uncertainty? What are your risk assessments looking like for your roles? Curious if anyone has a different perspective or has heard anything more substantial that might explain the current mood. Trying to stay ahead of the curve, you know?

Not entirely paranoid. I've definitely noticed a shift in conversations around the office lately. People are being a bit more tight-lipped than usual, and there's a general undercurrent of uncertainty. It's hard to pinpoint exactly why, but it does make sense to keep your options open. Better safe than sorry in this environment.

I hear you. While I haven't seen any direct signs of trouble, the 'quiet exodus' you mentioned is definitely a thing. It's more of a gut feeling, that sense of something brewing beneath the surface. I've been casually browsing job boards myself, just to stay current. It never hurts to be prepared, even if nothing comes of it.
