State Street - Is this performance review cycle different?

Okay, so layoffs aside for a sec, is anyone else feeling like this year's performance review process at State Street is more intense than usual? My manager seems to be drilling down on metrics and 'impact' in a way that feels like they're building a case for something. Could just be standard HR procedure, but combined with the general market uncertainty, it's making me a little nervous. Anyone else getting this impression or is my team just being scrutinized harder? Wondering if it's a company-wide thing or if I should be worried about my specific role/performance.

Yeah, I'm definitely feeling it too. It's not just your team. The focus on quantifiable results and 'demonstrated impact' feels like it's ramped up considerably this year. My manager has been asking for more detailed examples of how my work directly contributed to specific business outcomes, which is a bit more granular than in previous cycles. It does add a layer of pressure, especially with the current economic climate. Hoping it's just a standard push for accountability and not anything more concerning.
