State Street - Workload increasing, fewer people?

Is it just me, or has the workload at State Street been steadily increasing while the headcount seems to be stagnant or even decreasing subtly? I've seen a couple of people move teams internally, but no new hires replacing them. Plus, it feels like some projects are getting stretched thin. People are definitely feeling the pressure, and the 'doing more with less' mantra is starting to feel less like a strategy and more like a daily reality that's unsustainable. Has anyone else experienced this crunch? Are managers being told to manage headcount more tightly, leading to this situation? It's getting to a point where it's impacting morale and frankly, the quality of work we can deliver. Just looking to see if this is a widespread feeling or if it's isolated to certain areas. Getting a bit frustrated with the lack of transparency if this is a planned headcount reduction.
