Anyone else feeling the weird vibe at Stryker lately?

Been here for about 4 years in R&D in the Kalamazoo area. Lately, it feels like there's a weird tension. Not sure if it's just me or if others are picking up on it. My manager's been a bit cagey about team goals for next quarter, and I heard some chatter in the breakroom about budget freezes. No official word on anything, which is almost worse. Makes you wonder if something's brewing under the surface. Just want to hear if anyone else is feeling this, or if I'm just overthinking things. Trying to stay focused on my projects, but this uncertainty is rough.

Yeah, I've been feeling it too, and I'm in a completely different department over in Irvine. It's this subtle undercurrent of uncertainty, you know? Things that used to be straightforward are now met with vague answers, and there's definitely more hushed conversation than usual. My team lead also alluded to 'adjustments' for the next fiscal year without giving any specifics. It's unsettling when you don't have clear direction, especially when you're trying to plan your work and personal life around it. You're definitely not alone in picking up on this.

Hmm, I haven't really noticed anything out of the ordinary. Been with Stryker for 6 years now, primarily in manufacturing in Missouri. Things seem pretty business as usual for me. Projects are moving, targets are being set, and while things are always subject to change, I haven't felt any unusual 'tension.' Maybe it's specific to certain departments or locations? Could be regional economic factors influencing things in Kalamazoo that aren't affecting other areas as much. Just my two cents.
