I'm in a different department, but I've definitely noticed a shift too. Less spontaneous collaboration, more structured 'synergy sessions' that feel a bit forced. Budgets seem tighter, and there's a general sense of caution that wasn't there a year ago. Wondering if it's a broader industry trend or something specific to Stryker. The 'optimization' buzzwords are definitely flying around my team as well, which always makes me a little nervous.
Interesting to hear someone else say it. I'm in sales, and while my numbers are still good, the internal support feels less robust. New initiatives seem to be put on hold or scaled back significantly, and there's a lot of talk about 'streamlining processes.' It's hard to pinpoint exactly, but there's an underlying tension that wasn't present before. Hope it's just a temporary phase and not a sign of bigger issues down the line.
