Stryker - Performance reviews and future outlook

So, performance reviews just wrapped up for a lot of us. Honestly, mine felt a bit more critical than usual this year. It wasn't bad by any stretch, but the emphasis on 'efficiency' and 'strategic resource allocation' was definitely heavier than in past years. It got me thinking about the broader picture. With all the talk in the industry about consolidation and cost-cutting, I can't help but wonder if Stryker is starting to feel that pressure more acutely. Are these reviews a precursor to something bigger, or am I just projecting my own anxieties? I know there are no official layoffs to report, but the internal vibe seems to be shifting. Anyone else get a similar feeling from their review or conversations with their managers about departmental goals for the next year?

Yeah, I noticed that too. The focus on efficiency feels like a shift. It's less about 'growing the pie' and more about 'slicing it smarter,' if that makes sense. I'm not necessarily worried, but it does make you wonder about what's coming down the pipeline. Are we gearing up for a leaner phase, or is this just standard business cycle stuff? Curious to hear if others felt a similar change in their review discussions.
