Stryker: Anyone else feeling the pressure lately?

Hey everyone, been with Stryker for a few years now and I've noticed a definite shift in the atmosphere recently. Not seeing any official announcements or anything concrete like that, but there's a palpable sense of unease. Project timelines seem to be tightening up, budgets are being scrutinized way more than usual, and there's a lot of talk about 'efficiency improvements.' HR has been sending out surveys about employee engagement, which usually isn't a bad thing, but given the current climate, it feels like they're fishing for something. Has anyone else picked up on this? Is it just my department, or is this a company-wide thing? Curious to hear what others are experiencing.

I've definitely felt it too. The push for efficiency feels like it's coming from everywhere, and it's making things pretty stressful. It's hard to keep up when the expectations keep shifting. I'm curious to see what, if anything, comes out of these surveys. Hopefully, it leads to some positive changes rather than just more pressure.

Yeah, the vibe has been a bit tense. It feels like there's an unspoken urgency to get more done with less. I've noticed more cross-departmental meetings focused on streamlining processes. It's a mixed bag – some of it might be beneficial in the long run, but the immediate impact is definitely more demanding workloads.
