Anyone else feeling the squeeze at Sync?

Hey all, been with Synchrony for a few years now in [Department/Role]. Lately, the vibe has been... off. Projects are getting reshuffled, people are being moved around, and there's a definite increase in 'efficiency' discussions. Seeing a lot of my colleagues stressing about their standing, and frankly, I'm feeling it too. No official word on anything, but the whispers are getting louder. Anyone else in [Another Department/Role] noticing similar things? Is it just me, or is the company really tightening its belt right now? Trying to get a pulse on the situation before things potentially get dicey. Any insights or similar experiences would be appreciated.

Yeah, I'm picking up on the same undercurrents. There's a sense of unpredictability that wasn't there before. It feels like management is trying to streamline things, but the communication around it is practically nonexistent, which just breeds anxiety. Seeing more people looking over their shoulders, and the constant talk about 'optimization' is definitely wearing thin. Hoping it's just a phase and not indicative of bigger changes.

It’s not just you. The pace has definitely picked up, and the goalposts seem to be moving more frequently. It's hard to get a solid footing when priorities shift so rapidly. I've noticed more pressure to hit certain metrics, even when the resources or support aren't quite there. The lack of clear direction is making it tough to stay motivated and focused. Just trying to keep my head down and do good work.
