Anyone else's projects suddenly getting 're-prioritized' at Synopsys?

It's been a strange few weeks. Several projects I'm involved in have suddenly been put on hold or significantly scaled back. The official reasoning is always about 'strategic shifts' or 'resource allocation', but it feels a bit too convenient. Performance reviews are also coming up, and the feedback has been... interesting. Lots of talk about 'impact' and 'alignment', which is fine, but it feels like they're building a case for something. No layoffs have been announced, and honestly, I haven't seen mass firings. But the subtle shifts are definitely there. Anyone else experiencing this? Wondering if it's just my division or if it's a company-wide pattern. Trying to get a sense of the temperature before anything actually happens. It's unnerving to feel like the rug could be pulled out from under you without warning.

Yeah, I've heard similar murmurs around here. The 'strategic shifts' narrative is getting old. Feels like there's a lot of pressure to demonstrate 'impact' lately, especially with reviews on the horizon. Makes you wonder if this is just pre-performance review jitters or something more substantial. Hopefully, it's just a temporary flux and things will stabilize soon.

Definitely seeing some churn myself. Projects getting the chop or reshuffled without much clear explanation. The constant talk about 'alignment' and 're-prioritization' does raise an eyebrow, especially when performance metrics are being scrutinized. It's a bit unsettling, but trying to stay focused on delivering value where I can. Let's hope for some clarity soon.
