Sysco - What's the outlook for Logistics/Warehouse roles?

Been with Sysco in a warehouse/logistics role for a few years now. Things have been steady, but lately, the overtime hours have been inconsistent, and there's been a noticeable increase in 'efficiency reviews'. No official word on layoffs, but the chatter is definitely there. Wondering if anyone in similar roles or management positions at Sysco can shed some light on the long-term outlook for these positions. Are they consolidating routes? Investing more in automation that might displace people? Just trying to prepare myself and understand if it's time to start looking elsewhere proactively. Any shared experiences or intel would be super helpful. Thanks.

Interesting to hear about the efficiency reviews. I've been in a similar role elsewhere and seen that kind of push before. Sometimes it means a real streamlining effort, other times it's a precursor to cuts. The inconsistent overtime is a bit of a red flag, though. Keep an eye on those 'chatter' conversations, they often hold more truth than official statements. Hope you get some clarity soon.
