Hey all, been at Sysco for a few years now and lately things have felt a bit... uncertain. Not hearing any specific layoff news, but there's been a lot of talk internally about 'streamlining' and 'efficiency improvements.' Some departments seem to be hiring, while others are oddly quiet or have had people exit without replacements. Just wondering if anyone else is picking up on this. Is it just business as usual with the economic climate, or are we on the cusp of something bigger? Curious to hear if anyone has heard anything concrete or has a gut feeling about where things are heading. Trying to get a sense of the general mood and if it's worth starting to update the resume or if it's just noise. Appreciate any insights.

Yeah, I've been noticing the same shift. It's that 'quiet hum' of change that always makes you wonder. Some days it feels like a normal ebb and flow, other days the silence in certain areas is pretty loud. Definitely seeing more people juggling multiple roles. Hope it's just optimization and not the precursor to something more drastic.
