Sysco Sales & Account Management - How's business?

To all my fellow Sysco sales reps and account managers out there – how are things looking on the ground? My territory has been a bit up and down lately, and I'm wondering if it's just me or a broader trend. Are clients spending less, pushing back harder on pricing, or are we seeing a slowdown in new business acquisition? Curious about your experiences in different regions. Are you feeling pressure from management about hitting numbers? Any insights into how the company is performing overall from a revenue perspective would be helpful. Trying to gauge the overall health of the sales pipeline and customer demand. Let's share some war stories (or success stories!).

Yeah, I'm seeing similar trends in my area. Definitely a lot more price pushback from clients lately, and some are definitely scrutinizing their orders more closely than before. We've also had a couple of the larger accounts go quiet, which is a bit concerning. Not sure if it's seasonal or if the broader economic climate is really starting to bite into restaurant budgets. Management's been leaning on us pretty hard to make up for any dips, so it's a constant hustle to keep things moving forward. Feels like we're all in the same boat trying to navigate this.

Business has been surprisingly steady in my region, actually. We've seen a slight uptick in some of the casual dining segments, and the healthcare sector continues to be a reliable performer. Of course, there's always pressure to hit targets, but I haven't felt an excessive amount of it lately. Maybe it's the specific mix of clients I have, or perhaps other regions are facing different challenges. I'm always interested to hear how others are doing though, as it gives a better picture of the overall market landscape. Keep the updates coming!
