Anyone else at T. Rowe Price feeling the pinch? What's going on?

Hey everyone. Been with T. Rowe Price for a few years now, and lately, things have felt...different. There haven't been any official announcements, but the vibe in the office and on team calls has shifted noticeably. More whispers about 'efficiency' and 'streamlining,' which usually precedes something. My team's workload has increased, and there's a general sense of unease. I haven't heard of anyone being let go directly, but performance reviews seem to be carrying more weight than usual, and the pressure to hit metrics is definitely up. Is anyone else experiencing this? Am I just being paranoid, or is there something brewing that we're not being told about? Curious to hear if others feel the same or have any insights into what might be happening behind the scenes. Especially wondering if this is an industry-wide thing or specific to T. Rowe.

I've noticed the same shift in atmosphere. While I haven't directly experienced any significant changes in my day-to-day tasks, the increased focus on 'efficiency' and the subtle changes in team dynamics are hard to ignore. It's created a bit of a buzz, and I'm keeping an eye on developments. Hopefully, it's just a strategic recalibration and not something more impactful.

It's definitely a topic of conversation around here. The 'streamlining' buzzwords are certainly making the rounds, and it feels like there's an underlying tension. My workload has also picked up, and I'm wondering if this is a precursor to more significant organizational changes. Keeping my head down and focusing on performance, but it's tough not to feel a bit unsettled.
