T. Rowe Price - Anyone else feeling the pressure?

Been with T. Rowe for a few years now, and honestly, the vibe has shifted significantly. It's not just one thing, but a general feeling of unease. We're seeing more "efficiency drives" and "strategic realignments" than actual clear communication about where we're heading. Lots of hushed conversations in hallways and shared docs being scrubbed. Performance reviews feel like they're being used to build a case for something, rather than just feedback. I've seen colleagues who were stars suddenly sidelined. Is anyone else in Portfolio Management or similar areas noticing this? Feels like we're bracing for impact but nobody's saying what it is. Just trying to stay focused on my work, but it's hard when the ground feels like it's shifting. Anyone have any intel or just sharing the same feeling?

I'm hearing a lot of similar sentiment. The constant talk of restructuring and efficiency without clear direction is definitely unsettling. It feels like there's a lot of anxiety about job security, and performance reviews are definitely being viewed with suspicion. It's tough to stay motivated when you're not sure what the future holds or if your contributions are truly valued long-term. Hoping for more transparency soon.

Totally relate to the feeling of unease. The 'hushed conversations' and 'scrubbed docs' are classic signs of something brewing. It's a shame because I used to really believe in the company's mission and stability. Now, it feels like we're just numbers on a spreadsheet being optimized. Performance reviews feeling punitive is a really bad sign for morale. Wondering if this is a widespread issue or just certain departments.
