Alright, T. Rowe folks. I'm not seeing any official layoff announcements, but the workload has been absolutely insane lately. Projects are piling up, and it feels like headcount has been frozen or even reduced subtly over the past year. Been hearing from colleagues in other departments that budgets are tight and hiring has significantly slowed down. It's making me nervous. Is anyone in a position to know what's *really* going on behind the scenes? Are we heading towards significant changes, or is this just a temporary belt-tightening? The uncertainty is the worst part. Any insights would be appreciated, even if it's just rumors.

I've definitely noticed the increased workload and the hiring freeze feels very real. It's unsettling not having official communication to address the situation. I've been looking at my own finances and considering contingency plans, just in case things do shift significantly. Hopefully, it's just a temporary slowdown and not indicative of larger issues. It would be good to get some clarity on the company's direction and staffing strategy soon.
