Anyone else noticing the quiet quitting environment?

Is it just my department, or is morale across the board at an all-time low? I’ve been with Teradyne for a few years now, and the vibe lately feels incredibly stagnant. There’s a strange silence from leadership during the last few all-hands meetings—everything is super vague and they keep dodging direct questions about the Q3 targets. I feel like everyone is just coasting because they don’t know if we’re actually going to hit our numbers or if a 'restructuring' is being planned behind closed doors. People are keeping their heads down, but I’m hearing more sidebar conversations about looking elsewhere than I ever have before. Is anyone actually working on anything substantial, or are we all just waiting for the other shoe to drop?

It’s definitely not just your department. I’ve been hearing the same sentiment across different groups lately. The lack of transparency in those all-hands meetings is honestly demoralizing. When leadership refuses to address the Q3 targets directly, it makes it impossible to feel invested in the current goals. Everyone is nervous about potential restructuring, and the 'coasting' vibe is just a symptom of that underlying uncertainty. It feels like we are all waiting for the other shoe to drop instead of actually collaborating.

Honestly, I’ve stopped looking for clarity in the meetings and just started focusing on my own deliverables. It’s a survival strategy at this point. When the communication from the top becomes this vague, you have to assume that nobody has a solid plan or that they aren't willing to share the bad news yet. The morale shift is palpable, but I’d rather keep my head down and collect my paycheck than stress over the inevitable restructuring rumors. It's a job, not a lifestyle, especially in this climate.
