It is getting ridiculous. I have seen three different initiatives folded in the last six months alone, and every time, we act like it was part of the plan all along. The lack of transparency from management is toxic. It is impossible to build anything substantial when you know the budget could be pulled by next Tuesday. Everyone is just polishing their resumes at this point because nobody believes the current strategy will actually last through the end of the fiscal year.
I honestly think the leadership team has completely lost the plot. They keep shuffling resources around like they are rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic, hoping that if they cut enough costs, the margins will miraculously fix the stagnant growth. It is demoralizing to put your heart into a project only to have it canned without a real explanation. We are all just burned out and tired of the constant pivoting. At this stage, I am only doing the bare minimum to stay under the radar.
