Teradyne - How's the hiring freeze looking?

Curious about the hiring situation at Teradyne right now. I know a few roles I applied for a while back seem to have gone silent, and the internal job board doesn't seem to be getting much fresh content. Is this a widespread 'hiring pause' or are some departments still actively recruiting? Trying to understand if this is a signal of cost-cutting measures or just a temporary slowdown. Any insights from recruiters or hiring managers would be super helpful. Also, for those who have interviewed recently, what was the general vibe? Were they upfront about the market, or was it business as usual? Just trying to get a pulse on the company's current hiring strategy and what it might imply for job security. Appreciate any info.

Heard from a contact in one of the Semiconductor Test divisions that things are definitely slower. Not a complete freeze across the board, but a very noticeable slowdown in external offers and even internal transfers. Seems like they're being much more selective and prioritizing essential roles. Definitely feels like a cautious approach to hiring right now, possibly anticipating some market shifts. Keep an eye on their earnings calls for any official commentary.

I can confirm the slowdown is real. Applied for a position in the Robotics group a couple of months ago and the process just… stopped. No updates, and the requisition was eventually removed. The internal postings are indeed sparse. It's hard to say definitively if it's cost-cutting or a strategic pause, but the lack of movement suggests a tightening of the belt. Might be worth waiting a quarter or two to see if things pick up again.
