Teradyne - How's the performance review cycle impacting things?

With the performance review cycle wrapping up (or recently wrapped up for some), I'm wondering if anyone has noticed any correlation with increased anxiety or changes in team dynamics at Teradyne. Performance ratings can sometimes be a precursor to headcount changes, even if not direct layoffs. I've heard some teams are getting hit with 'needs improvement' more frequently, and the general vibe seems a bit more intense than usual. Is this just standard end-of-year stress, or are people seeing this as a potential indicator of future cuts? Also, has anyone had conversations with their managers about future roles or potential shifts within the company based on their reviews? Trying to gauge the overall mood and if this is a company-wide trend or specific to certain divisions. Any insights would be appreciated.

Yeah, the whole performance review thing has definitely added a layer of stress. I've noticed more people being super careful about what they say, and there's a definite undercurrent of 'am I safe?' when discussions turn to ratings. Seems like even small projects are getting a microscope put on them. Hope it blows over soon.

It's always a bit tense around reviews, but this year feels different. There's a real sense of looking over your shoulder, and the 'needs improvement' feedback seems to be landing with more weight. People are definitely more anxious about their standing, and it's affecting collaboration a bit. Curious to see if it leads to any actual changes.
