Teradyne - Management silence on Q3/Q4 outlook is deafening

Been with Teradyne for a few years now, and usually, we get some sort of heads-up or at least an indication of what's coming for the rest of the year during town halls or team meetings. This time around, it's radio silence. Every time the topic of future projects or company performance comes up, management just deflects or says 'we're evaluating.' It's creating a lot of anxiety. Are we heading into a rough patch? I keep hearing whispers about lower demand in certain semiconductor segments, which I know is a big part of our business. Is anyone else getting a weird feeling about the lack of transparency? It’s not just about potential layoffs, though that’s obviously a concern for many. It’s also about strategic direction and job security in general. It feels like we're being kept in the dark, and that's never a good sign. Would appreciate any insights or similar experiences.

I'm feeling the same way. The lack of clarity is definitely unsettling, especially when we're all working so hard. Normally, there's a degree of transparency, even if it's just acknowledging challenges ahead. This complete silence makes it hard to plan and feels like we're being kept in the dark. I'm trying to stay optimistic, but it's tough without any solid information or reassurance from leadership about what's on the horizon. Hopefully, we get some updates soon to ease the current uncertainty and anxiety across the teams.
