Lately, feels like a lot of projects are being pushed back or outright cancelled. Not just small things, but some that seemed pretty strategic a few months ago. On my team, we've had two major initiatives scaled down significantly, and another put on indefinite hold. The official line is 'strategic alignment,' but it feels like there's a general tightening of the belt. Anyone else seeing this? I'm trying to figure out if this is a company-wide trend or just specific to our division. Are budgets being scrutinized more heavily? Are we expecting hiring freezes to be officially announced soon, or maybe even some voluntary separation packages? Just trying to read the tea leaves here. No official layoffs yet, but the vibe is definitely shifting. Trying to stay optimistic, but it's hard when the roadmap keeps changing.
