Hey all, been working at Thermo Fisher in the LSI division for a few years now, and lately things just feel... off. There haven't been any official announcements or anything concrete, but the vibe is changing. Budgets seem tighter, project approvals are taking longer, and there's definitely less 'big picture' communication from management than there used to be. Feels like we're in a bit of a holding pattern, and it's making people nervous. Anyone else picking up on this? Wondering if it's just my specific department or a broader trend within LSI. Trying to stay positive, but the uncertainty is starting to weigh on me. Just want to know if I'm alone in this feeling or if others are seeing similar signs. Curious to hear your experiences.

I've definitely noticed a shift too, especially with cross-functional projects. It feels like there's more bureaucracy involved in getting even simple things approved, and the usual open channels for collaboration seem a bit more guarded. It's understandable that people are feeling uneasy when the usual flow of information and resources isn't as predictable as it once was. Hopefully, things will become clearer soon.

The 'holding pattern' feeling is spot on. It's subtle, but you can feel the difference in how decisions are being made and how resources are being allocated. People are definitely talking about it in hushed tones.
