Is TJX slowing down hiring / increasing workload?

Been with TJX for a few years now, and lately it feels like things are definitely tightening up. We're not hiring as much, if at all, and the expectations on the remaining staff seem to be going up. Inventory management, customer service, store appearance - it all feels like more pressure to do with less. Has anyone else noticed this shift? I'm trying to figure out if this is a company-wide strategy or just my particular district. The recent WARN notice also adds to the anxiety, though it seems separate from our day-to-day store operations. Just looking for some shared experiences or perspectives on what's happening behind the scenes.

I've been with TJX for a while too and I'm seeing the same thing. It feels like we're expected to juggle more tasks with fewer hands. The pace has definitely picked up, and it's getting harder to keep up with everything, from stocking shelves to keeping the fitting rooms clear. The pressure to maintain standards feels immense. Wondering if they're pushing for higher efficiency or if it's a sign of something else brewing.

Interesting to hear others are feeling the squeeze at TJX. My store has definitely felt the impact of reduced hiring. We're constantly stretched thin, and it's becoming a challenge to meet all the operational demands without additional support. The constant need to do more with less is definitely a strain on morale and makes providing top-notch customer service even harder. Hoping it's a temporary phase.
