TSCO - Anyone noticing changes in store operations or corporate strategy?

Just looking for some honest opinions here. I've been with Tractor Supply for a few years now, and I've seen cycles before, but this feels a little different. There's been a lot of talk about optimizing processes and increasing efficiency, which is fine, but it's coupled with some unexpected shifts in how certain departments are structured. It's making me wonder if there's a larger strategic change happening behind the scenes. Are we seeing a move towards leaner operations? I haven't seen any official layoff announcements, and honestly, I'm hoping that's the case. But the underlying sentiment seems to be one of caution. Anyone else in a similar boat or have insights into what might be brewing? Trying to get a better understanding of the current climate.

I've noticed some shifts too, feels like they're pushing harder on the online side of things, and maybe that's affecting in-store staffing or inventory levels. The focus on 'efficiency' sometimes translates to fewer hands on deck, which can make things a bit chaotic during peak times. Hopefully, it's a temporary adjustment phase and not a sign of something more permanent.

Yeah, it's definitely a talking point among the team. The push for 'optimization' seems to be leading to some pretty significant changes in how we operate day-to-day, and not always for the better from a customer-facing perspective. It makes you wonder if the long-term vision prioritizes something other than the traditional store experience that built the brand.
