Internal shifts at Trane - Anyone else notice changes?

Been with Trane for a few years now, and lately, I've observed some subtle but noticeable internal shifts. Budgets feel tighter, hiring freezes seem to be in effect for non-essential roles, and some internal projects that were previously greenlit are now on hold indefinitely. It's not just my team; I've heard similar murmurs from colleagues in other departments. Wondering if this is a company-wide trend or if I'm just overthinking it. Has anyone else experienced or heard about significant internal reorganizations or strategic adjustments that might precede larger changes? Trying to gauge the general sentiment and understand if this is something broader impacting the workforce.

Definitely seeing some of that here. My department's been told to scrutinize every expense request, and the usual budget for training and development has been significantly cut back. It's a bit frustrating, especially when we're trying to innovate. I've also noticed fewer external recruiters reaching out, which might indicate a broader hiring slowdown. Curious to see if it's just a seasonal thing or a more strategic shift in resources.

I've heard similar whispers. While we haven't had outright freezes, there's definitely a greater emphasis on cost control and efficiency across the board. Project prioritization seems to be much stricter, and anything that isn't directly tied to core business or immediate revenue generation is getting a second look, or worse, put on the back burner. It does make you wonder what the long-term strategy is behind these adjustments.
